Who is Hill Haven Sugar Gliders?

Hill Haven Sugar Gliders is a USDA licensed breeding facility and supply store dedicated to the proper care and well being of sugar gliders and their humans. We have been breeding suggies for five years now. Hill Haven is starting to work on introducing color variations to our available lines. Our joey lineages can be traced thru The Pet Glider Genetics Database by adding -HHSG behind a joey's name. The joeys we raise are handled regularly so they are hand tame. We have a climate controlled building dedicated to glider use only. Hill Haven Sugar Gliders offers a 14 day guarantee on the gliders we sell.

We educate people about sugar gliders?

Hill Haven Sugar Gliders is educating people of all ages about sugar gliders by showing gliders at community events like fairs, craft shows, festivals, exhibitions, funfests, concerts, and parades. We also have a website with an information page on sugar gliders. This page not only has information sheets but also has links to other websites that have information about sugar gliders. Sugar gliders are known by a few names like suggies, fur kids, furbutts, and pocket pets. They are also incorrectly called flying squirrels. More recently they have been called honey gliders and sugar bears.

Working with schools.

Hill Haven Sugar Gliders offers a 45 minute program to schools in order to educate children about sugar gliders. We bring in live gliders that are trained to work in events of this nature. We also have story books featuring sugar gliders that we read to the students. There in a minimal cost to cover traveling expenses. We will present to a class or the whole school as determined by the participating schools. If interested please use the Contact Us page to contact: Maria-Elena Hill (Owner and Educator). We offer all of our books about sugar gliders to schools for the classroom or school library at a 10% discount.

We Rescue Sugar Gliders

There are many reasons why people find they no longer can give the quality of care needed. Some simply did not realize the devotion required, some no longer can house the pet, some develop health reasons to give up the pet, and others simply can no longer afford an additional mouth to feed no matter how small. Whatever the reason, Hill Haven Sugar Gliders comes to the rescue.

Hill Haven Sugar Gliders will take custody of any sugar glider regardless of where you purchased it or whatever age it is and insure it finds a healthy loving home. Simply contact us and arrange for pick up or delivery. Rest assured that any pet relinquished to the Hill Haven Sugar Gliders will live out their lives in loving care.
