Hill Haven Sugar Gliders

This project is a triple hitter!

1. It will cause people to learn more about glider rescue homes and what they do.

2. It sends needed items to a rescue home (that the winner determines).

3. It helps to raise money for a vet fund.

$1 tickets for the box will be available here until January 15th, 2010 (to better the odds of picking the rescue home of your choice purchase more tickets). The items contributed to the box will go to a rescue home determined by the highest bidder and the funds will go towards my rescue glider vet fund (find out why I need to rebuild the fund here).

My hope is that A Glider Rescue's Dream Mystery Box will be full of neat stuff for gliders that any rescue could really use. I'll post how many items are in the box (below), who contributed, and how many items they donated (for guessing purposes – some people know what others make and are likely to donate) but not what (the mystery).

The box will be sent to the chosen rescue home by Valentine's Day. Sender will pay shipping. It will be up to the rescue home that receives it to tell everyone what it contained for verification purposes. 

This is not an all inclusive list. We are researching just like we want you to do. Rescue names will only be added with their permission.

If you don't see your favorite rescue's name here and would like it to be please shoot me an email, subject: rescue name. Please include contact name and number so I can ask if they'd be willing to recieve the mystery box. Then I'll add them to the list if they agree to it. (hillhavensugargliders@yahoo.com)

I will be collecting items for this box until December 31st, 2009 contact me if you'd like to donate to it. Suggestions for donations include but are not limited to; makng a toy yourself, gift card to a sugar glider website or store, $5 Walmart giftcard (BML supplies, fresh fruit. vegetables, and cleaning supplies are always needed), supplements and vitamins, rejected joey supplies, cages, pouches (sleeping and bonding), treats, maybe a gift for the human slave (to show them we appreciate what they are doing for the good of gliders), the list goes on...
